How the Hilton Honors status match works
The challenge is super simple: you request match status from Hilton by sending details of your loyalty card from a competing group, along with a bank statement for the past 12 months.
If the request is accepted, the corresponding level in the loyalty program will be assigned for 90 days. From then on, you will need to complete the challenge: stay 5 nights to get the Gold level and 9 nights to get the Platinum level.

Needless to say, it is a most advantageous offer, even in this context of reduced requirements through 2021. In normalcy to obtain the Platinum level, the highest and richest in benefits, you have to stay 60 nights (halved to 30 for 2021), but thanks to this promo you will need just 9 nights even in a single stay, thus obtaining a status that alone is worth thousands of euros.
Key benefits for the Gold level include complimentary breakfast; for Platinum, however, extra points, breakfast, lounge access and upgrades almost certain every stay.
