In fact since the restart of flights last summer Virgin had not restored its offerings, preferring to maintain a reduced service as a precautionary measure. Similar situation with many other companies, however, which have Slowly restored service in full.
Customers are now offered a welcome drink upon boarding, followed by a choice of three personalized hot meals accompanied by a salad and three desserts, including cheese and cookies. On daytime flights, passengers are offered a second meal that includes Eric Lanlard's signature Eric Lanlard Mile High Tea and can now opt for a deli plate or a lighter option.
For those traveling on overnight flights, three hot breakfasts and side dishes including fresh seasonal fruits, muesli bircher and pastries are offered. All these options can be accompanied by a selection of champagne, wine, spirits, soft drinks, tea and coffee.
Of course, services for economy and premium economy classes will also be restored always, and in full compliance with safety protocols.
