Singapore's national airline announced that from today it will be possible for all members of the KrisFlyer program to link their children's loyalty program profiles into one account as well. The notice was sent to all program members, will allow up to 5 children per traveler to be grouped together and accumulate up to 50k Krisflyer points per year per child.

"We are pleased to share that this month we launched KrisFlyer for Families, a new program feature that allows families to earn miles so that households can now take advantage of awards much more quickly than before," the company writes in the email sent to customers.
Starting today, Parents and guardians can link their children's KrisFlyer accounts to their own and, as of August 18, 2021, will be able to transfer miles from their children's KrisFlyer accounts to their own accounts. Up to five children's accounts can be linked to one adult KrisFlyer account, and a limit of 50,000 KrisFlyer miles per child account can be transferred each calendar year. Service fees and other terms and conditions apply to miles transferred.
Parents and guardians who link their child's account to their own by August 31, 2021 will receive 500 KrisFlyer miles.Â
