World Airline Awards, Air France is the best carrier in Europe

Air France's at the Skytrax World Airline Awards was a real triumph. In fact, the French carrier won no fewer than four awards. These included one of the most coveted in the industry: Best Airline in Europe.

The company's excellent work has enabled it to be crowned the queen of Europe, achieving first place in the ranking for the western part of the continent as well. No surprises, however, in discovering the placement reserved at home. It is in fact the leading carrier in France. There has been talk, however, of four awards. The last one is related to the global health emergency. In fact, Skytrax recognized the great commitment of Air France on the security front, which has been as crucial as ever in recent years. The company has therefore obtained the COVID Airline Excellence Award. This is the third time the society has given a distinction to the carrier for all measures implemented since the beginning of the pandemic, increasing from four to five stars (highest rating).

Air France triumph

An event to remember, since for the first time Air France found space in the Top 10 Global Ranking, representing Europe alone in the world's top 10 companies. Compared to 2019, as many as 13 positions were gained over the competition.

World Airline Awards in Digital

For this edition of the coveted awards, one was forced to operate differently. The first part of 2020 saw the beginning of a deep crisis in the sector, which has not yet recovered.
