Of stories viral you see dozens of them every month and You often hear about airlines threatening passengers of not letting them on board unless they have a dress code adequate.
In this article:
This time it was the turn of a VIP, namely the former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, before boarding with her boyfriend and sister on an American Airlines plane at Los Cabos airport. Shortly before the flight, in fact, the model was called back to the gate and told that she had to cover, Otherwise he could not have traveled with AA.
Culpo's outfit was short sports shorts, sports bra and a long cardigan that left her navel exposed.
A look that at first glance doesn't seem exaggerated, or rather not so inappropriate as reputed by American Airlines.
The video was posted on TikTok by her sister, baffled by the incident. According to her, in fact, Olivia was dressed in a manner normal and it seemed absurd to her that she had been called back to the gate to ask her to cover. The footage also shows another similarly dressed passenger to whom, however, no one said anything.
The former Miss Universe eventually wore the sweatshirt of her boyfriend and was admitted on the flight.
Olivia Culpo's trolling of American Airlines.
A week later Olivia trolled the airline by publishing this post:

The caption is at least emblematic: "Please exercise caution when using the hat racks as items may have shifted during the flight."
That is, the classic phrase that is said by flight attendants, a clear reference to American Airlines And to what happened the week before.
What does America Airlines' dress code say?
Nothing, or nearly so. It does not go into specifics, but simply says to "dress appropriately" and that "no bare feet or offensive clothing are allowed."
In practice, American Airlines leaves much of the decision to the ground staff who at their discretion apparently decide who can wear what and whether to prevent a flight for cleavage.
Certainly, it was more inappropriate for the passenger to show up at the security checkpoint wearing only a bikini Miami airport:
