We know you may not be ready to travel yet. To help make things easier for you, we're extending your benefits.
So begins the email that members of the Radisson hotel chain loyalty program sent to all Rewards members. Effectively the same decision made by other hotel chains in late 2021. The notice comes today, on the eve of the end of February, when all statuses of those enrolled in the program were due to expire.
In this article:
The Gold level è included in the annual fee for American Express Platinum and holders need not worry about anything, since those who have the card through the convention will never see their status expire, even if they never stay in the facilities of this and other chains.
Extension of Elite status
To all members, the elite status possessed was extended until February 28, 2023. This means that no user will lose status later this year, as has been the case since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Suspension of points expiration
The expiration of the points is extended until June 30, 2022, for all members who had expiring points before that date. To renew the validity of points for another 24 months, simply stay one night, or move your account by donating, exchanging, buying or giving away points.
Elite Earnings Rollover
All eligible nights and stays earned in 2021 will move to 2022, contributing to the attainment or elevation of the level until 2024.
In conclusion
As we had a chance to write recently, it is being Returning toward normalcy in statuses: This, barring any new pandemics, will be the last ex officio renewal, and from next year we will go back to earning the level in the field.
