Good things are unfortunately destined to be short-lived, is the case of this status match campaign launched by Royal Air Maroc, so successful that it led the company to eliminate the possibility of obtaining Gold status, the one with the most benefits, leaving only the Silver level.

+++Fine update+++
The golden season of status matches is not over yet, today we are talking about a real opportunity to have status in a company in the OneWorld alliance, the least generous when it comes to this type of offer.
Running the proposal is the statusmatch.com platform, the same platform that currently allows the former Millemiglia members to obtain status with Emirates. Even the modes only similar:
- It is necessary to enroll in Royal Air Maroc's loyalty program, Safar Flyer
- Completed enrollment, request status match By May 31.
A financial contribution of 49 euros is required. If granted the level, it will be released until the end of March 2023.
Obviously this campaign is directed to those who do not have status with OneWorld companies, specifically the programs accepted are:
- Star Alliance: Aegean Airlines - Miles+Bonus; Air Canada - Aeroplan; Egyptair - Plus; Ethiopian Airlines - ShebaMiles; Lufthansa - Miles & More; Scandinavian Airlines - EuroBonus; South African Airways - SAA Voyager; TAP Air Portugal - Miles&Go; Turkish Airlines - Miles&Smiles; United Airlines - MileagePlus
- SkyTeam: Air Europa - SUMA; Air France - Flying Blue; Czech Airlines - OK Plus; Delta Air Lines - SkyMiles; KLM - Flying Blue; Kenya Airways - Flying Blue; Middle East Airlines - Cedar Miles; Saudia - Alfursan
- Single programs: El Al - Matmid; Emirates - Skyward; Etihad - Guest; Gulf Air - Falconflyer; JetBlue - TrueBlue Rewards; LATAM - LATAM Pass; Tunisar - Fidelys; Virgin Atlantic - Flying Club;
SkyTeam airlines do not include ITA Airways, but Millemiglia status holders can take advantage of. two currently active campaigns (the free one of Lufthansa and Emirates' paid one) to triangulate, first obtain status in one of these two challenges and then apply for status in Royal Air Maroc.
The main benefit is the ability to obtain Gold level, which corresponds to OneWorld's Sapphire. Status that allows access to all airport benefits such as priority boarding, check-in at business counters, access to lounges of all alliance carriers, e.g. the American Airlines flagship lounge and the Galleries of British Airways.
I am currently Gold with British Airways, so I am not interested in this campaign, however, if you plan to participate, please write us how it went in the comments.
