The largest lounge in South America
Once you set foot inside the Latam Lounge at Santiago airport in Chile, you will be captivated by the style chosen for the interior. In fact, it was decided to offer this large space to some South American artists, exhibiting of their sculptures made entirely from recycled materials. A total of 21 prominent names in the Latin art world, including Ximena Guzman, Sofia Donovan and Percy Zorilla, from Chile, Argentina and Peru, respectively.
This is a decidedly attractive proposition for passengers who will find themselves seated in an entirely different lounge from the previous VIP lounge, which has been entirely replaced. The Latin American influence will be clearly felt and, at the same time, there will be as much attempt as possible to convey an important message for the present, as well as for the future: sustainability is the only way.
On the project of the largest lounge in South America, which, we recall, is located at Terminal 2 of the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, Chile, Latam's vice president of customer area, said, Paulo Miranda. Here are his words, "We promoted many changes and innovations within our new lounge. We wanted to create a space that highlights the best of our region. An area where everyone can enjoy their time to the fullest."
A variety of services are made available to passengers who can conveniently store their luggage in special lockers. There are also specific areas to be able to rest or sleep, perhaps while waiting for a connecting flight for which there are several hours to go. Little ones will not have to be glued to a screen all the time. For them there is a specific area full of games. A real boon for parents, already stressed by travel arrangements. For those who need it, it is possible to take advantage of the shower service. For those who are hungry or thirsty, on the other hand, here are. open bar and buffet service, all with a strong Latin inspiration. The options passengers can choose from, however, do not end there. Ironing or shoe shining can be requested and, if desired, it is possible to go to thededicated co-working area.
