We are very happy to be able to publish this review because it is of a facility that has just joined the Hilton portfolio in Italy and it is also the Conrad's first hotel in our country. This week we publish Gaetano's review, a loyal reader who has also already told us about his Debut in the world of points with a killer reservation. Gaetano chose to celebrate his anniversary at this facility, and judging from the review, he must not have regretted his choice.

The review

Thanks to Hilton's always-on price match promotion I managed to tick off a discount of 25% on the lowest rate available on the web and specifically on trip.com. I had to apply 3 times, but in the end the service turned out to be on time.

The arrival at the hotel is rewarding, incredible view, friendly staff and welcome drink.

The facility is not new but is the hotel, located on the hillside, of a complex of 3 facilities (Conrad, Curio and a family village) that has existed for some time. Each of the 3 facilities is perfectly independent of the other.

The hotel turns out perfectly renovated in full Conrad style, understated but impactful luxury.

I am a Diamond Hilton Honors member so I had several benefits. I booked a standard room, but then got upgraded 5 levels by upgrading to the one bedroom suite with private garden, a show that would have cost exactly 1000€ more per night.

Needless to say, the level of furnishings is excellent, even Byredo as the supplier of the bathroom accessories.

Upon arrival in the room we find a sweet gift of fruit treats and red wine, nice!

On the second day, on the occasion of our anniversary, the guest relations manager was shrewd enough to repeat the tribute by offering us a bottle of Franciacorta from about 80€ list price. Very good indeed!

In terms of services, the hotel offers the possibility of going to two different private beaches, accompanied via golf car, on demand, in a trip that does not exceed 3 minutes. We always opted for the Monte Covoni beach reserved for Conrad and Curio, the other is also accessible to village guests. Lido facilities are top notch, large, wide umbrellas with mattresses on the loungers and towels. Bar with light lunch.

Beautiful sea, worth the price of the ticket.

There are, only at the Conrad, two pools, one of which is a wonderful panoramic pool with an attached lunch bar, and a spa with 3 whirlpools and a panoramic pool. With a sea like this we never dived into the pool. The spa is not of the highest level with 3 hot rooms, without infamy or praise.

Breakfast, the only real weak point, excellent but not outstanding, perhaps a bit mundane. Nothing Sardinian is available except myrtle jam, there are no centrifuges, while the egg offerings are top notch. If I had paid 1400 euros per night, however, I would have complained. Let's say in line with many 4-star hotels on the market.

The breakfast restaurant is the same as the dinner restaurant (the terraces), it could be panoramic and quiet but unfortunately below the restaurant 50 meters away is the village stage with attached village entertainment...not the top.

For dinner we opted twice out of 3 times for the Curio buffet restaurant. We turned our noses up at first, but the quality is excellent and the price absolutely justified, 50€. The hotel offers private shuttle service with Evoque, a big plus.

In conclusion

The structure is magnificent and services are top notch, I would give all my life a top rating despite breakfast and adjacent village. Credit note to the staff, they are all really nice. I highly recommend evaluating it for reservations with points.
