The proposed status match
The offer includes, for those who qualify, The achievement of the Gold level in Emirates' Skywards program. The one that allows you to have access to lounges, get discounts on award tickets, and many other little vices that can make travel better too, and especially, when traveling in economy.
The offer is not only aimed at those with status in the Millemiglia program, but to all residents of Italy who hold status in 5 European airlines:

- British Airways - Executive Club
- Air France/KLM - Flying Blue

Emirates to propose the status match uses the StatusMatch.com platform, request takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
After entering your name/surname, you must select the loyalty program from which you are requesting the status match, the relevant elite level, and the card number.
You are then asked to upload proof of status. A photo of the card or a screenshot of the profile from the site is sufficient.
The last step is to pay the required fee. In November this procedure cost €79, while now the figure has dropped to only 49€. and, within 72 hours, relative status will be obtained.
To whom should the status match be requested
This proposal is perfect if you plan to travel with Emirates, in economy, in the next 12 months. Through the0 status in fact you will earn more Skywards points, you will be in the shortlist to get upgrades free class and most importantly you will have Access, with a guest, to Emirates lounges scattered around the world.

Beyond that there is a second possibility, Having status with Emirates also provides benefits on partner carriers such as Qantas, TAP and JetBlue in the US. In addition, this card is often targeted by other Status Match campaigns, so it might be a good investment to request it and then hope for the validity period of an MS offer from some other company.
In conclusion
This campaign is very interesting especially now that we are back to flying almost all over the world, Emirates flies from Italy to the rest of the world via Dubai, or from Milan to New York, the only route from Italy to North America aboard the A380.
