Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, a global leader in luxury and experiential travel, was commissioned by real estate company Gruppo Statuto to manage the project Rosewood Milan. A new hotel, opening in 2025 in Milan.

Located right in the heart of Italy's fashion capital, Rosewood Milan follows Rosewood Rome, Rosewood Hotel Bauer in Venice, and Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany as the luxury travel company's fourth property in Italy. It thus joins the long list of luxury hotels in Milan.
What Rosewood Milan will look like
Located on the edge of the Fashion Quadrilateral, the Rosewood Milan will feature 70 rooms, including about 20 suites. The exciting new property will include the iconic Branca Palace and the Commercial Bank Building, the latter formerly home to the Banca Commerciale Italiana. Built in the 19th century, these buildings are historical hallmarks of the architecture that so characteristically characterizes Milan's heritage.
The transformation will be overseen by the Parisian KO Studio, which will strive to weave classic details of the property with 21st-century touches. The space promises to be both modern and timeless, with the idea of accommodating the vibrant nightlife that already pulses throughout downtown.
Rosewood Milan will host a bar and a restaurant with a courtyard and garden, ready to become lively meeting places for the Milanese and those in town for tourism or business. The hotel will also host thewellness oasis Asaya with three treatment rooms, an indoor pool, and a fitness center.
Historic buildings and luxury amenities

Rosewood Milan thus joins the portfolio of hotels the Group will open in the coming years in Munich, Salzburg, Amsterdam, Rome, London, and Venice. Rosewood's current portfolio of European properties includes Rosewood Vienna, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris, Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid, and Rosewood London.
But the Rosewood's is not the only prestigious opening planned soon in Italy's fashion capital. The Marriott Group recently announced that it has signed agreements to debut dW's two new hotels in Italy, including. W Milan-Duomo. The new Milan facility is expected to begin welcoming guests in 2024.
