Summer '23 marks Ryanair's 24th year in Genoa, where it has carried more than 4 million passengers to/from the city since operations began in 1999. Ryanair will operate more than 80 weekly flights to 12 destinations from the Ligurian airport, which has recently started a major modernization and enlargement project.

"Ryanair is delighted to offer even more choice to the citizens and visitors of Genoa for summer '23--with a total of 12 routes, including 2 new ones and even more flights on our popular route to London Stansted in response to increased demand--these statements by Mauro Bolla"
"We are proud to continue pushing Italy's economic recovery by increasing year-round incoming tourism, regional investment and contributions toward millions of local jobs. With the opening of new routes to Cagliari and Dublin this summer, we further demonstrate our commitment to Genoa, where we are celebrating our 24th year of operation at the airport, having carried 4 million guests since our arrival in 1999."
"With the offer of flights for summer 2023, Ryanair confirms itself as a strategic partner for Genoa Airport. The new routes will allow Ligurians to fly to 12 important Italian and foreign destinations, but also allow tens of thousands of tourists to visit our region. Historical data shows that with direct flights, Ryanair stimulates international incoming tourism by making it grow more than average. In 2022, the airline's international routes to Genoa generated tourism spending in the region of tens of millions of euros, demonstrating that Ryanair's presence represents a huge opportunity for the economy and tourism. We will continue to do our part to stimulate Ryanair to invest in Genoa and Liguria. With the contribution of local authorities and stakeholders interested in traffic development, we aim to strengthen our collaboration with Ryanair and further increase Liguria's air connectivity in the near future," so Piero Righi director of Genoa Airport.
