This is the flight that connects Milan with New York, the only scheduled flight operated by ITA Airways from this airport., in the days of Alitalia there were two daily flights and beyond the Big Apple. you would also fly to Tokyo And there was also an official lounge here, now gone and soon to reopen managed directly by SEA.
The ticket price was 196 euros, but thanks to a discount voucher we had in the end the ticket cost 160.

This is a flight fifth freedom which connects Dubai with New York with a stopover in Milan Malpensa, the beauty of this flight is that it is among the cheapest you can book with loyalty program points, although it has recently become more expensive.
The price at the time of booking was really cheap, just over €270. Of course we could also have used Skywards points, but it was a coversion that didn't have much logic.
The challenge
We compared all aspects of these tickets: from price to seating, from food to IFE to, of course, service in general.
As always, these tickets are paid for by us and not sponsored by the companies; our reviews are based on our experiences aboard planes around the world.
The final result
The difference is all in the hardware. EK's A380 outperforms AZ's A330, but it is not just an ITA issue.
Economy aboard the Emirates giant is, arguably, the best in the world given the amount of space and the on-board entertainment system.
At the service level the two companies were at the top, a confirmation for Emirates and a happy note for the Italian company. Of course in a few months the same challenge might have a different result since ITA will have the new A330/900neo and Emirates the new cabins on the entire A380 fleet.
