What changes

From March 1, 2023, more bonus points will be accumulated based on the level of card held. Emirates frequent flyer has three levels beyond basic: Silver, Gold and Platinum.
- To achieve Silver status, you must accumulate 25,000 Level Miles (or make 25 qualifying flights)
- For Gold, you must accumulate 50,000 Level Miles (or make 50 qualifying flights)
- For Platinum membership, you must accumulate 150,000 Level Miles
What's new is the percentage of bonus points that accumulate based on the Skywards level held, here's how it changes:
- Silver - bonus of 30% (used to be 25%)
- Gold - 75% (used to be 50%)
- Platinum - 100% (formerly 75%)
For once the change is not pejorative. After so many devaluations, a small improvement is definitely good news.
