Ryanair launches new summer routes from Pisa to Birmingham, Copenhagen, Glasgow and Stockholm
The company celebrated 25 years in Pisa and renewed its long-term agreement with the city's airport
After Naples, Ryanair announced its Record operating for summer 2023 from Pisa, which provides 54 routes, including 5 new destinations for city break as Birmingham, Copenhagen, Glasgow and Stockholm, and the new summer destination of Kos.

Ryanair worked jointly with the management of Toscana Aeroporti to develop A new long-term agreement to improve connectivity and contribute to passenger growth in the coming years, with the goal of increasing inbound tourism to the Tuscany Region and offering greater connectivity to Tuscan citizens traveling for business, leisure or to visit friends and family.
Ryanair's operation from Pisa for summer 2023 includes:
- 8 based aircraft (including 3 "Gamechangers")Â
- $800 million investment in PisaÂ
- 54 routes, including 5 new ones - Birmingham, Copenhagen, Glasgow, Kos and StockholmÂ
- Increased frequencies on more than 20 routes, including Barcelona, Berlin, Cagliari, Chania, , Malta, Marrakech, Valencia
and Zara. - +14% growth over pre-CovidÂ
- More than 2,800 local jobs, including 240 for pilots, cabin crew and engineers
Ryanair has successfully operated to/from Pisa for the past 25 years, Carrying more than 47 million passengers and investing significantly in the Tuscany region. Ryanair will operate more than 500 weekly flights to/from Pisa this summer further increasing inbound tourism and employment. This unprecedented growth is supported by Ryanair's $800 million investment in Pisa Airport, with 8 aircraft based and more than 240 highly paid aviation jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers.
