Volotea inaugurates flights from Bari, Cagliari and Palermo to Florence. From Puglia new route to Barcelona
The Tuscan capital has become the carrier's seventh Italian base

Volotea, which Recently opened its new base of operations in Florence, communicated the initiation of New connections from Bari, Cagliari and Palermo to Florence and from the Apulian capital to Barcelona.

The flight is available with 3 weekly frequencies during the busiest traffic period (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday). The carrier's total offer includes 31,000 seats for sale, equal to 200 flights. Florence and Tuscany thus become closer to the Apulian capital, from which it is possible to reach 9 destinations, 2 in Italy and 7 abroad, aboard the carrier's fleet. Volotea is also operating from Brindisi airport, where it offers connections to take off to Cagliari (available from next May 27) and Nantes (inaugural flight scheduled for next May 4).
Bari airport thus counts an increasingly richer range of Volotea-branded flights: The flight to the Tuscan capital is in addition to the classic connections to Olbia and seven other destinations in Greece and France.

From Cagliari to Florence and Barcelona
The exclusive connection to the Florentine capital will operate with 4 frequencies per week (every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) during peak traffic periods, with an offer of 36,000 seats, equal to more than 230 flights. In contrast, the new flight to Barcelona will provide up to 3 frequencies during peak traffic periods (every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday), with an offer of more than 27,000 seats, or 170 flights. With upcoming routes departing on May 27 to Athens and Brindisi, Volotea stands as the second airline in terms of the number of destinations that can be reached from the Sardinian airport.
On April 7, the company inaugurated the departure of the first flight to Barcelona.

From Palermo to Florence
The route to the Tuscan capital is operated by Volotea with 3 weekly frequencies, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There will be a total of more than 210 flights departing from the Sicilian airport, with a total of 33,000 seats on sale. With the next connections to be inaugurated on May 26 and June 1 to Toulouse and Santorini, the Volotea offer at Falcone and Borsellino includes 18 destinations, 7 in Italy and 11 international.
