It opened on April 27 the City Check-in & Travel Store of Emirates, in the heart of Dubai's financial district. An innovative service dedicated to the airline's business (but not only) customers that allows them to booking travel, checking in for flights, store luggage, purchase travel products, saving time at the airport.

A true luxury and hyper-tech hub located at the ICD Brookfield Place at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
In fact, the City Check-in & Travel Store allows travelers to drop off their luggage as early as 24 hours and as late as 4 hours before a flight, arriving at the airport without the thought and encumbrance of checking luggage.
Customers can visit the space and check in at any time every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., beginning their travel experience with seamless service via self-service kiosks, at dedicated desks with Emirates agents, or with the help of the world's first robotic check-in assistant, called Sara.
The robot Sara
Sara is an innovative portable robotic check-in, which can recognize travelers' faces and their passports through a scan system. Emirates' store also features interactive touchscreens and maps showing the carrier's latest news and includes the ability to buy tickets or merchandise. The service also includes paid valet parking or self-service parking within the financial center.
Overall, therefore, City Check-in & Travel Store is a real up level travel agency dedicated to all of Emirates' top customers. In fact, passengers can take advantage of the assistance of a travel consultant for all their needs regarding the flight or to plan destination excursions, visits and activities.
In addition, Emirates offers free access (or exclusive discounts) to some of the facilities or services housed within the Brookfield Place ICD (from restaurants to gyms to upscale stores).
Finally, when it is time to go to the airport, passengers can reach the airport by cab, or by the Emirates chauffeur, or via the Financial Centre Metro Station stop that reaches Dubai Airport Terminal 3.
Adel al Redha, chief operating officer of Emirates, said:
"Emirates City Check In is our latest addition to the Emirates travel experience, demonstrating our commitment to providing customers with a range of check-in options. Our new location is the first ultra-convenient check-in and baggage storage facility located in the DIFC area. People can avoid busy periods at the airport and minimize queuing. We are pleased to partner with ICD Brookfield on this project and look forward to providing our customers with more technology-centric solutions in the future."
