The outlook for the recovery of international travel is not meeting the forecasts, which is why several companies have already decided to extend/renew the validity of the elite levels of their most loyal customers.

The first was Tap Portugal, then followed by the Air France KLM Group.
Virgin Atlantic's official announcement came via social media, which for the time being has decided to extend the validity of the statuses of all its Flying Club program clients.
The update will be visible by March 12 and will affect, as mentioned, all Silver and Gold customers.
No extension for Virgin points because, with the recent launch of the new program Virgin Red, the expiration date of the points has been eliminated which are therefore de facto "for life." Hopefully, this idea will be copied by all other programs shortly.
