Google has decided to extend a hand to all travelers engaged in the difficult task of booking a flight at this time. Google Alerts
A New tool launched by Google allows you to keep track of all new policies related to international travel, in relation to each country. It is all incredibly simple and affordable.
Travelers are asked to do nothing more than to carry out their normal searches. When hunting for flights or hotels, for example, the famous search engine will point out some useful information at the top of the page.
Past the initial advertisements and another Google tool, related to reservations, here appears thered alert. Wanting to give a practical example, here is what it proposes once the simple search is done: "Spain hotels". Just two words, generic to say the least, for those who want to start getting an idea of the places to discover in some Iberian regions. The Covid-19 alert in this case emphasizes the following information, "Test for negative Covid-19 mandatory to be performed within 72 hours before departure." Below that is then a link back to an official source, in this case the Spanish Ministry of Health.
European green pass approved
We are all tired of a life half-lived, and our minds are projected to the summer of 2021. It is undeniable. Everyone needs to unplug, and that is why it is so important that the european green pass.
It has been talked about for a long time and has finally become official. It is good, however, to understand what it is and, specifically, what it entails in terms of free travel. The official name chosen is EU Covid-19 Certificate. It will include tests taken, certificates of recovery, and vaccines received (only those authorized by the European Medicines Agency).
The European Parliament has also asked member countries to ensure that the tests are free of charge, setting a validity limit for this measure of 12 months, no longer. It is now hoped that negotiations can get this key tool up and running by the June deadline, in time for the major air traffic scheduled for summer 2021.
The advantage is that any traveler holding such a certificate will in no way be subject to travel restrictions. Thus, one will be assured of not having to undergo quarantine periods, fiduciary self-isolation or further testing.
Parliament also wanted to provide reassurance regarding the handling of private data. No information contained in the certificate will be stored by the destination countries. No central database will also be created at the European level.
