Sleeping using points in one of the most luxurious, and beautiful, hotels in Venice will become more difficult. The Danieli Hotel now part of the Marriott portfolio has passed from the American hotel chain into Canadian hands, joining the family's Fours Season, owned by Microsoft inventor Bill Gates.

With the exit from the Marriott family, it will no longer be possible to stay for free using Bonvoy loyalty program points.
