When I went to Munich, the stop at the castle of Neuschwanstein was obligatory. It was this fortress that inspired the Disney and a myriad of films, its a beautiful atmosphere and enchanted, Visiting it with snow gave it that extra magical touch.

Neuschwanstein, Bodiam, Edinburgh Castle or Osaka Castle are certainly not in rent, but on Airbnb it is possible to find some hidden treasures. Many in Italy and United Kingdom, somewhat the home of castles, but also some in Germany and France.

Granary Castle in Monselice (Padua)

Located in the heart of the Regional Park of the Euganean Hills, the castle of the Granary dates back to the 19th century, was built on the remains of an ancient monastery.

The estate stretches for 90 hectares, within it are a natural thermal lake and hot spring water. The castle is furnished with furniture, paintings and carpets vintage, but there is no shortage of modern amenities such as (free) bicycle rental and Wi-fi.

15km from Siena, in the fantastic Crete Senesi, lies the Castle of St. Fabian. The beginning of its construction is even thousands of years old; in fact, we are talking about the 9th century DC.

Cregg Castle, Ireland

The Kirwin family, one of the 12 Tribes of Galway, built the Cregg Castle in 1648. Surrounding the castle are 180 hectares of pasture land and woods, the current Host is the English artist and author Alan Murray.
