I struggled to find it, partly because in all the signage inside the airport I didn't see a sign for this lounge, but when I walked in it was a real surprise. One of the best Priority Pass rooms I have ever visited.

As mentioned it is a lounge that falls under the portfolio of lounges accessible through Priority Pass, this means that all holders of American Express Platinum, o Gold card can enter for free Taking advantage of the card obtained along with the credit card.
It is also open to business passengers and those with elite status in the various loyalty programs of the airlines that have an agreement with the operator of this lounge. Unfortunately, ITA Airways, which flies once a day to the Catalan airport, has no agreement with this lounge.
In addition, the lounge is open virtually all the time: from 5 a.m. to the departure of the last flight in the evening.
Location
The lounge is located above McDonalds, so the advice is to follow the signs to the fast food restaurant and you will eventually locate the lounge entrance. Located on the second floor of the airport, access is directly from the main terminal via escalator, elevator, or traditional stairs.
It is immense, It is probably the largest independent lounge I have ever visited in Europe. Larger at the moment I only saw the one in Muscat, but in the Middle East, square meters do not count.
Not only is it huge, but is also bright due to the choice of light-colored materials and the presence of a glass wall overlooking the airport terrace.
In addition to the glass window, there are two openings to the terminal and one that runs through all 3 floors of the terminal letting in light from each side.
In terms of seating, this lounge offers all kinds of solutions. From small restaurant tables, to armchairs. From the most comfortable seats where you can stretch your legs as well, to workstations.
There are micro lounges, there are insulated seats, there is even an area with chairs and armchairs for children. They didn't leave anyone out.
Food & Beverage
One of the best buffets ever found in such a lounge. We are not talking about an official VIP room of a company, but one where everyone can enter, either by paying or thanks to one of the many cards that allow entry.
The bar counter is more than 10 meters long, the buffet just as long, and there is everything. Both in terms of drink offerings and wine and spirits.
Then there is, for the lazy ones, a second island bar on the opposite side of the main bar, so you go less distance to quench your thirst.
The same goes for the buffet. There is a bar area where you can compose your own salad, there are hot dishes, sliced meats and cheeses. Various types of breads, an area with savory appetizers, and even a station dedicated to desserts and one to fresh fruit.
The staff is everywhere. The room is spotless and as something in the buffet runs out it is immediately restored. To nitpick, there is no bartender, but there are vending machines for hot drinks.

There is also a spa, for a fee, and a hair salon available to guests.
There are small rooms where actual business meetings can be held.
Power outlets everywhere: there are at least a couple of USB ports and an outlet at each location. There really is everything to wait for one's flight without stress and recharging the body, spirit and even the cell phone.
In conclusion
This lounge enters by force into the nominees for the title of best lounge 2022. Of course, we are still missing the whole year and so many trips, but judging from what I saw in 2021, we are really at the top here.
