Six new routes from Catania, two from Brindisi, and a third Airbus also from the Sicilian base. Big news at home Wizz Air, an airline that continues to increase air connections to southern Italy.     The significant investment in the airport of Catania Fontanarossa continues with a new aircraft and the possibility of reaching international locations of great tourist and commercial interest. From July 3 it will be possible to reach Santorini with two flights a week and Prague every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. From July 4, on the other hand, the Catania-Tel Aviv (twice a week) and Catania-Turin (five times a week) routes will open. On June 8 it will be the turn of the Catania-Heraklion route, while from September 21 it will be possible to depart from the Sicilian airport to Abu Dhabi.

    The link between Catania and Wizz Air continues and has so far led to the creation of over 40 direct jobs and over 350 indirect jobs supporting industries such as aviation, transportation, hospitality and tourism.
