On June 8 it will be the turn of the Catania-Heraklion route, while from September 21 it will be possible to depart from the Sicilian airport to Abu Dhabi.
The link between Catania and Wizz Air continues and has so far led to the creation of over 40 direct jobs and over 350 indirect jobs supporting industries such as aviation, transportation, hospitality and tourism. The recruitment campaign for Italian-speaking crew members also continues with over 100 jobs available. With the addition of the new routes, Catania Airport's capacity will grow to over 490,000 places per year, providing local passengers with even more convenient travel opportunities.
